VISTORBELITUNG.COM,SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment chamber, reinforced with soundproofing material. The chamber should be monitored by video surveillance at all times. All personnel interacting with SCP-XXXX must wear active noise-cancelling headphones. Under no circumstances should any personnel be in the same room as SCP-XXXX without ear protection.

SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity of unknown origin, approximately 1.7 meters tall, with a gaunt and seemingly muscular build. Its most notable features are its disproportionately large, bulbous eyes, and an unnervingly wide, grinning mouth from which an elongated, thick tongue protrudes. The entity's skin is a pale, sickly brown, with a texture similar to dried mud.

SCP-XXXX exhibits a unique and highly dangerous auditory anomalous property. When a human subject makes direct eye contact with SCP-XXXX, the entity will emit a high-pitched, guttural scream. This scream, while not physically loud, induces a state of extreme disorientation and psychological terror in anyone who hears it.

Subjects exposed to the scream report vivid, horrifying hallucinations and an overwhelming sense of dread. The psychological effects can persist for up to 48 hours, often leading to a temporary state of catatonia or severe paranoia. The entity seems to derive a form of sadistic pleasure from this effect, as its grin widens and its eyes dilate significantly during and after an emission.

SCP-XXXX is not inherently hostile unless provoked by direct eye contact. It is capable of moving at speeds far exceeding that of a normal human, and has been observed to "skitter" along walls and ceilings, further adding to its unsettling nature. Despite its menacing appearance, it has never attempted physical harm on Foundation personnel, preferring to inflict psychological trauma instead.
