The Role: Business Development Lead
As our Business Development Lead, you will be the driving force behind Rho Protocol's market expansion and adoption. You will be responsible for identifying, building, and maintaining key strategic partnerships with other protocols, DAOs, financial institutions, and major players within the Web3 landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to increase Rho Protocol's visibility, liquidity, and adoption.
• Partnership Management: Identify, initiate, and close strategic partnerships that align with the protocol's long-term vision.
• Community Engagement: Represent Rho Protocol at industry conferences, online events, and within relevant Web3 communities to foster relationships.
• Market Analysis: Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape and emerging trends in DeFi and Web3 to identify new opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the core engineering, marketing, and product teams to ensure partnership efforts are fully supported and executed.
What We're Looking For
• Experience: Proven track record (3+ years) in business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally within the Web3, DeFi, or crypto industry.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance concepts (lending, staking, AMMs, stablecoins, etc.), and the current market structure.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Network: An established professional network within the Web3 space is a significant advantage.
