The Role: Web3 Business Development Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Web3 Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a crucial role that will be responsible for expanding our network, forging strategic partnerships, and identifying new investment opportunities within the Web3 landscape. This position can be based either on-site in Hong Kong or fully remote, offering flexibility for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead generation and outreach: Identify, research, and contact potential Web3 projects, startups, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) for partnership and investment opportunities.
• Partnership development: Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, developers, and other stakeholders in the blockchain community.
• Market analysis: Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and competitive landscape within the Web3 and blockchain sectors.
• Deal sourcing: Actively source and evaluate potential investment deals that align with Posley Capital's strategic focus.
• Community engagement: Represent Posley Capital at industry events, conferences, and meetups to enhance our brand presence.
* Negotiation: Assist in the negotiation and closing of partnership and investment agreements.
Qualifications
• Proven experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a strong focus on the Web3, crypto, or blockchain industry.
• Deep industry knowledge: A solid understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, DAOs, and other key Web3 concepts.
• Strong network: An existing network within the Web3 ecosystem is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Self-starter: The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and take initiative.
• Problem-solver: A proactive and analytical mindset with a passion for innovation.
• Language skills: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
Compensation
The salary for this position is competitive and ranges from $3.5k to $6k per month, commensurate with experience. We offer a performance-based bonus structure and opportunities for career growth within the firm.
