VISTORBELITUNG.COM,Re7 Capital, a London-based cryptoasset investment firm, is looking for an Investment Analyst specializing in liquid tokens to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with a passion for the crypto industry to work at the forefront of Web3 innovation. The role is a new, full-time position with a remote-first setup, open to candidates in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlands, and Switzerland.
Role & Responsibilities
The Investment Analyst will work directly with the leadership of the Opportunities Fund to drive portfolio decisions and design. This role is highly hands-on and requires a strong analytical mind with a genuine curiosity for crypto. Key responsibilities include:
Scouting and Diligence: Sourcing and performing in-depth due diligence on investment opportunities and liquid tokens. This involves fundamental research, financial modeling, and assessing market sizes.
Investment Memos: Writing comprehensive investment memos and providing capital allocation recommendations to the leadership team.
Market Intelligence: Constructing market intelligence reports and conducting thematic and sector research to inform portfolio positioning and risk management.
Community Engagement: Engaging with crypto communities on social media, like X (formerly Twitter) and Discord, to inform due diligence and gather product feedback.
Data Analysis: Utilizing tools like Dune Analytics and on-chain data from platforms like Etherscan to enhance insights and research.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a sharp analytical mind and an ownership mentality. A background in either traditional finance (TradFi), computer science (CS), or a fintech-related field is essential. Specific qualifications include:
Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in crypto-asset research or investment management, with at least 3 years of overall experience in crypto, CS, TradFi, or fintech.
Skills: Proven experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and market research. The ability to quickly synthesize complex, disparate information and form a clear point of view is critical. Experience with SQL and Python is preferred.
Attributes: The role requires an individual who is a pragmatic, sober, and probabilistic thinker. You should be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. A deep-seated intellectual curiosity and obsession with crypto are a must.
