The Role: A Strategic Leader with a Hands-On Approach
As the Business Development Team Lead, you will be the driving force behind CoW DAO's growth strategy. This is a high-impact role that requires a blend of strategic vision and a hands-on, results-oriented mindset. You will be responsible for:
• Leading the Team: You will manage and mentor a growing business development team, setting priorities and building scalable processes for success.
• Driving Partnerships: You will identify, pursue, and close partnership opportunities with a diverse range of players—from consumer-facing financial applications (wallets, trading apps) to institutional firms (market makers, fintechs) and other DeFi protocols.
• Nurturing Key Relationships: You will personally manage some of CoW DAO's most valuable relationships, ensuring long-term engagement and successful deal execution.
• Translating Tech into Value: You will be the bridge between technical innovation and business value, adeptly pitching CoW DAO's products (CoW Protocol, CoW Swap, MEV Blocker, and CoW AMM) to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Shaping the Future: Your insights from market trends and partner feedback will directly influence CoW DAO's product roadmaps, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of DeFi innovation.
Who They Are Looking For
CoW DAO is seeking a seasoned professional with significant experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably within the fintech, DeFi, or broader Web3 ecosystems. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of selling solutions to large organizations and navigating complex sales cycles. A strong understanding of blockchain and DeFi concepts, such as MEV, AMM design, and intents, is highly desirable.
