The company confirmed on Monday that it has acquired Palisade, a leading digital asset wallet and custody firm, to significantly broaden its crypto services.
The acquisition of Palisade, which specializes in secure, scalable "wallet-as-a-service" technology, is set to be integrated into Ripple Custody. This move aims to provide an end-to-end, bank-grade solution for securing digital assets, catering to the growing demands of fintechs, crypto-native firms, and large corporations. Palisade’s technology, known for its multi-chain support and fast integration, is expected to enhance Ripple’s offerings for high-speed transactions and treasury management.

Ripple's strategic shopping spree this year includes: Hidden Road,A prime brokerage firm, now rebranded as Ripple Prime, providing institutional clients with access to trading and liquidity. GTreasury: A treasury management system provider, boosting Ripple's offerings for corporate clients holding digital assets.
Rail: A stablecoin payments platform, accelerating Ripple's capabilities in the stablecoin and payment processing sectors.
The systematic acquisitions demonstrate Ripple's clear strategy to build a comprehensive, regulated infrastructure layer for the institutional adoption of crypto. By securing core capabilities like custody (Palisade), trading (Hidden Road), and treasury management (GTreasury), Ripple is positioning itself as an all-in-one provider for traditional finance seeking to enter the digital asset market.
